“Othello” at the Playhouse – 2015

The Grade 12 learners and Grade 10 Dramatic Arts learners were  fortunate to experience the theatre production of ‘Othello’ at the  Natal Playhouse on Friday, 13 March 2015. There was excitement and enthusiasm before the play which quickly turned to fascination and hero worship as the play commenced. The portrayal of the play was realistic and the actors extremely talented. The learners were  fortunate to meet, greet and take pictures with the actors. Learners declared that watching the play on stage added to it’s meaning and  their understanding of the text. The learners enjoyed the outing and look forward to more excursions of a similar nature in the future.  Thank you to Ms S Naidoo for this enriching experience.
