A special thanks to our special guest, Melville Suter, an ex Open Air School learner, who graced us with his presence and encouraging speech on the 25th of May 2015.Mr. Suter is in fact Open Air’s very first South African Springbok Rugby player. Against all odds he excelled and embraced the “I can and I will” attitude to rise to very top of South African Sport.
The OASIS Choir performed for him and the school in a special assembly where he presented them with the award they collected for winning the Choir Competition for special needs Schools in KZN.
He also awarded our Head Boy and Head Girl signed autographed pictures and was in turn presented with our own Open Air School Book ‘I Can & I Will’ by the Chairperson of our RCL.
