nickOur learners were happy to have experienced an exhilarating snake show on the 7th of August 2015. They were educated about the different types of snakes that can be found in South Africa, their levels of danger and how to deal with them. They also had the opportunity to interact with snake skins and some real live snakes.

Open Air School would like to extend a great thank you to Nick Evans for this opportunity. Nick runs a program called “Kwa-zulu Natal Amphibian and Reptile Conservation” Based in Durban. It is in conjunction with the Lawrence Anthony Earth Organisation. Its aim is to promote awareness and create an understanding about misunderstood and ecologically important animals.
