On 9 May the Therapy departments took 20 blind and visually impaired learners from the Foundation Phase to uShaka Beach. The learners were very fortunate to have an educational talk on water safety and sea rescue services by one of the Durban Ethekweni life guards. We were also very fortunate that a very generous beach goer, who decided to remain anonymous, donated ice creams to all the learners and staff. It was an enjoyable day for learners and the therapy staff.
