Our gratitude to the Jes Foord Foundation for our Special Women’s Month Assembly held on the 12th of August where Jes and Trish spoke to our High School learners about being aware of their rights and the sad reality of sexual crimes that occur in South Africa. Our staff and learners were truly inspired by Jes, herself a victim, and empowered by the lessons learned today. Mr Moodley committed Open Air School towards helping this amazing Foundation in collecting much needed items for rape victims. He said that we are always getting support but we must start giving support too in whatever way we can.
